One of the things I struggle with is having enough energy to get through my day. Especially, during the winter months when I'm in hibernation mode. Lord knows how hard it is to get up and moving when it's freezing cold and all you want to do is stay in bed :-)
Well, to give myself the necessary boost in the morning I usually turn to some of my favorite smoothies to give me the energy I need.
I try to drink an Energy Smoothie a few times a week a long with a well-balanced diet. You will find that these recipes are great to kick-start your mornings or a mid-day afternoon snack to get rid of that 2pm feeling.
